Unique Attributes: This project, located on an old industrial site, required geotechnical remediation to counter subsurface deficiencies. The building envelope was super insulated to achieve a pascal rating that is 3.8 times over Vermont Energy Code Requirements. A high efficiency air to air heat pump system provides heating and cooling. A root top energy recovery unit with heating and dehumidification provides dedicated ventilation air to the space during occupied times. High efficiency LED and fluorescent light sources were chosen. A majority of spaces are also day-lit.
