This was a fast tracked project.  Construction was begun on August 17, 2020 and the facility was operational October 14th for the first scheduled rail delivery of salt.  The 1,016 yards of concrete included 14″ thick, 8′ high kicker walls and 6″ reinforced slab.  The steel was erected in six days and weather tight in another twelve.  The conveyor installation took two weeks and was commissioned and operational for the first delivery.
