Renovations

E. F. Wall performed extensive interior and exterior renovations to Taft Hall to serve the universities’ Arts Department.  Upgrades included steam to hot water heating conversion, new elevator, and modernization of all data, electrical, and HVAC systems.  The dance studio received a new state-of-the-art sprung floor designed to comfortably support high impact dance and aerobic uses.

Unique Attributes:  Historic restoration work included: all 64 windows, repair of the Terrazzo flooring and marble paneling, and slate roof and flashing repairs.  The data and audio visual installations included accessible computer stations and monitors in the hallways on both floors.
