Renovations
Waterbury, Vermont
This project involved extensive interior and exterior renovations for both buildings that are part of the historic Waterbury State Office Complex. The Weeks building received new elevators, MEP systems, windows and doors, thermal upgrades, access improvements and new roof. Both floors, a total of 28,000 sf, received completely new finishes for the offices, conference rooms, break rooms, and common spaces. The Hanks building renovations included a new main entry and ADA access, along with major interior renovations.

The project meets stringent blower door testing and energy modeling requirements. The existing slate roof was removed, the asbestos underlayment remediated, and a new slate and copper flashed roof was installed to meet historic preservation requirements.
